OUR FIRST FALL 2026 CE PROGRAMS ARE OPEN FOR REGISTRATION: ENROLL TODAY!
ACE Foundation Programs
This presentation invites clinicians to examine how today’s youth are growing up amid persistent uncertainty, stress, and fear. Many face the reality of school violence, academic pressure, and constant social media exposure. These factors can contribute to worsening mental health symptoms such as increased anxiety, hypervigilance, and emotional fatigue. For many young people, the world feels unsafe and unpredictable. This presentation will analyze how these challenges shape development, identity, and emotional well-being. Clinicians will recognize that youth anxiety reflects both what is happening in their lives at home, with friends, and in the world around them. Strategies and approaches will be reviewed to help build resilience in youth, promote safety and connection, and create therapeutic spaces that validate the world young people are living in rather than dismissing it.
