ACE Foundation Programs
This training provides a trauma-informed, clinically grounded examination of men’s violence against women, integrating neurobiological, relational, cultural, and systemic perspectives. Participants will explore the continuum of violence, the role of developmental and attachment trauma, and the ethical foundations of accountability-based intervention. The course includes an overview of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), survivor-centered frameworks, and evidence-informed intervention strategies for individual, group, and community contexts.
The training emphasizes safety, responsibility, and healing, while explicitly distinguishing effective intervention from shame-based, punitive, or minimizing approaches.
