THE NEW YORK STATE SOCIETY FOR CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK METROPOLITAN CHAPTER WITH THE ADVANCED CLINICAL EDUCATION FOUNDATION PRESENTS:

CULTIVATING JOY: DEEPENING COUPLES CONNECTION THROUGH KETAMINE & PRESENCE

Program Description

Join us for a warm and experiential 3-hour virtual gathering exploring how ketamine-assisted therapy can support couples in deepening connection, softening defenses, and creating meaningful movement through painful relational patterns.

Many couples deeply love one another and genuinely want to stay connected, yet still feel trapped in recurring cycles of hurt, reactivity, and disconnection. Even with insight and strong communication tools, protective patterns can feel hard to shift. Ketamine, when offered thoughtfully and integrated with presence-based relational work, can help lower defenses, invite vulnerability, and open new pathways toward compassion, honesty, and healing.

Grounded in the spirit of Cultivating JOY and informed by Imago Relationship Therapy, mindfulness, and years of clinical experience, this live Zoom class will explore how ketamine can support couples in accessing emotional openness, relational safety, and renewed connection. We’ll touch on preparation, set and setting, nervous system regulation, guided experiential practices, and the powerful role of integration after a ketamine experience.

This event is designed for therapists, healers, and professionals curious about the intersection of ketamine and couples work, and for anyone interested in how presence, safety, and intentional connection can become part of the medicine.

Healing happens in relationship. And sometimes the doorway back to one another begins with slowing down, feeling deeply, and remembering we do not have to navigate this alone.
