A SECOND ENCOUNTER: MANY YEARS AFTER TERMINATION - THE THERAPIST’S EXPERIENCE ***CANCELED***

Program Description

What does it mean to the patient who returns to the same therapist many years after leaving therapy? How will the therapist’s years of development and new directions now impact the patient? How will the parallel process of the patient impact the therapeutic encounter? Cases illustrating this occurrence will be discussed.

An in-depth analysis using case examples, will demonstrate how the “second encounter” can function as an opportunity for client growth.
