New York State Society for Clinical Social Work’s Met Chapter’s Committee on Psychoanalysis with The Advanced Clinical Education Foundation of the NYSSCSW Presents

THE NEW SEXUAL LANDSCAPE AND CONTEMPORARY PSYCHOANALYSIS - Live Online via Zoom

Program Description

The sexual landscape has changed dramatically in the past few decades, with the meaning of gender and sexuality being parsed within the realms of gender fluidity and nonheteronormative sexuality. The sea change in sexual attitudes has also made room for the mainstreaming of internet pornography and the use of virtual reality, cybersex, sex dolls and robots for sexual pleasure. Dr. Knafo suggests ways psychotherapy must evolve to meet the novel needs of today’s generations in our digital era.
