The Advanced Clinical Education Foundation is seeking a Director of Professional Development.

Summary:

Seeking p/t licensed clinical social worker or clinical psychologist to develop and oversee quality continuing education programs for mental health professionals requiring continuing education credits to maintain their license. We are a 7-year-old not-for-profit offering contact hours for 80,000 licensed mental health professionals in New York State.

Job duties (remote):

• Research, create, implement and oversee continuing education programs online and in person.
• Collaborate with administrative and website staff, and ACE Board members.
• Review proposed presentations and presenter credentials to ensure compliance with NYS Education Dept. and Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB).
• Maintain relationships with state and national agencies who approve ACE’s CE credentials.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of a broad range of theoretical orientations particularly in psychoanalytic/psychodynamic psychotherapy
• Experience planning CE programs      
• Good written and verbal skills
• Good problem solver skills
• Good Interpersonal skills
• Good leadership skills
• Doctorate degree preferred but not essential
• Psychodynamic/psychoanalytic Institute training preferred
• Private practice experience preferred

Salary:

$50-$75/hour up to $22,500 annually
