ACE Foundation Programs
This presentation will include a definition of the nature of anxiety and an overview of the various types of anxiety, symptoms, causes and the most effective modes of treatment. The distinction between sensory integration impairment and over-anxious disorder will be explored and elucidated. A behavioral, emotional and neurological perspective will be presented throughout. An integration of theory and practice illustrating how different forms of anxiety are diagnosed and treated will be illustrated through three case studies, bringing synthesis to the entire workshop.

Roger Keizerstein, LCSW is a pediatric clinical social worker, certified trauma professional, writer and public speaker. His film and book reviews and case studies have been published in The New Social Worker, The Neuro-psychotherapist and The Science of Psychotherapy Magazines. He conducts workshops and gives lectures on trauma and posttraumatic stress throughout the New York Metropolitan Area. He has been in private practice in East Setauket, Long Island for 36 years.
Contact Hours will be awarded once the entire course is completed, as evidenced by signing in and out and completing a course evaluation. Certificates will be emailed approximately ten business days after the completion of the course.
